Model 270 Install Instructions

  1. Wipe down cab shell with provided cleaning solution and cloth.
  2. Install Vertical Reveal Flats-remove tape backing, align vertically, and press to secure
  3. Install Side Wall Base-remove tape backing, measure equal distance off corners (use provided 2” blocking), square with each adjacent walls, level with provided level, press to secure and attach with screws in holes provided on bottom flange as needed.
  4. Install “J” channel- Place channel on top of base, with outside edges flush with outside edges of base,press channel firmly against shell screw into place.
  5. Level A Side Panel – insert Panel A into J channel, lightly tap into place with provided rubber mallet, outside vertical edges should be flush with outside vertical edges of base. Screw in place with screwdriver on 1-3 clutch to secure.
  6. Level B Side Panel – insert Panel B into Panel A, lightly tap into place with provided rubber mallet, outside vertical edges of Panel B should be flush with outside vertical edges of Panel A with visible 1/8” wide black reveal between Panels A & B. Screw in place with screwdriver on 1-3 clutch to secure. (This panel will have the handrail attached if applicable).
  7. Level C1 Side Panel- insert Panel C1 into Panel B. lightly tap into place with provided rubber mallet, outside vertical edge of Panel C1 should be flush with outside vertical edge of Panel B with visible 1/8” wide black reveal between Panels C1 & B. Screw in place with screwdriver on 1-3 clutch to secure.
  8. Level C2 Side Panel- insert Panel C2 into Panels C1 & B. lightly tap into place with provided rubber mallet, outside vertical edge of Panel C2 should be flush with outside vertical edge of Panel B with visible 1/8” wide black reveal between Panels C2-C1 & C2-B. Screw in place with screwdriver on 1-3 clutch to secure.
  9. Install Side Wall Frieze-remove tape backing, insert behind Panels C1 & C2, align outside vertical edges with Panels C1 & C2, press to secure and attach with screws in holes provided as needed.
    • Check dimensions from each wall as you go, use provided 2” blocking
    • Each level is dependent upon the previous level, so measure each level.
    • Screw both ends and center screw location. In high wear areas, you may increase the amount of screws used depending upon the service environment. 

Repeat process for opposite side wall and rear wall
